I had to do a lot of digging to find basic information. This exercise inspired me to address (no pun intended) the subject of contact information.<\/p>\n What does contact mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n In the fishing expedition described above, I discovered that contact means different things to different people. As a matter of fact, it’s all over the map! To find out where a company is located, I had to visit each website and often make several clicks to find a company’s address.<\/p>\n Even if your company is worldwide and your location isn’t important to prospects, a\u00a0supplier or prospective employee could be searching for directions, or just a phone number. Why not make it easy for them?<\/p>\n There are two major reasons to display your address prominently on your website. The first is to make it easy for people to find you, but even more important is search engine optimization.<\/p>\n
